LIT and CIT Programs
The LIT (Leaders in Training) and CIT (Counselor in Training) programs give teens and tweens opportunities to be with their peers and with leaders who also reflect the diverse identities that span our multicultural community, and have power and agency in relation to understanding and protecting the land.
CITs are youth in grades 11-12. Junior CITs are youth in grades 9-10. LITs are youth in grades 6-8.
Both groups will engage in leadership and wildlife stewardship training courses within their cohorts and spend part of every day shepherding younger youth in their nature-based learning activity.
SCHOlarships
Scholarships are available for students that qualify for free and reduced lunch, as well as for students needing additional financial support whose family identifies as BIPOC (black, indigenous, people of color).
